FAQ

WHAT IS THE GUARANTEED RESALE VALUE (GRV) PROGRAMME?
The GRV Programme allows the original registered owner to sell the vehicle back to MMM at the end of Year 5 at a pre-agreed value, provided all programme conditions are met. The GRV is a vehicle buy-back arrangement and not a guaranteed cash payout.

At the end of Year 5, you may decide to:

  1.  Sell the vehicle back to MMM; or
  2. Sell the vehicle back to MMM and upgrade to a new Mitsubishi vehicle; or
  3. Keep the vehicle by settling the financing; or
  4. Continuing with a revised payment plan

Your Mitsubishi Xforce is eligible for:

  • 45% of the original On-The-Road (OTR) price if you do not purchase a new Mitsubishi vehicle; or
  • 60% of the original OTR price if you purchase and register a new Mitsubishi vehicle at Year 5.

The applicable GRV remains subject to programme eligibility requirements and market value provisions.

Yes, provided the vehicle meets all programme conditions. The GRV is subject to:

  1. Vehicle ownership requirements;
  2. Mileage limit;
  3. Service and maintenance requirements;
  4. Vehicle condition;
  5. Inspection and appraisal; and
  6. Other programme terms and conditions.

Failure to meet any mandatory requirement may result in the vehicle becoming ineligible for the GRV Programme.

The GRV Programme is designed to provide peace of mind againt vehicle depreciation and market fluctuations. However, if the vehicle's market value falls below 40% of its original purchase price at Year 5, MMM may apply the prevailing market value instead of the stated 45% or 60% GRV amount, in accordance to the programme terms and conditions.

Any applicable market value will be determined by MMM using a reasonable and objective valuation methodology based on recognized market references.

MMM may use information from one or more recognised valuation sources, including:

  1. Online automotive marketplaces (e.g. Mudah, Carlist);
  2. Dealer and auction transaction data (e.g. Carsome, Carro);
  3. Independent valuation providers (e.g. Autograb);
  4. Bank and insurance/takaful industry valuation benchmarks; and
  5. MMM's internal used vehicle sales data

The vehicle's age, mileage, condition, specification and prevailing market conditions may also be considered.

Yes. To remain eligible for the GRV Programme, all servicing and scheduled maintenance must be carried out within the Mitsubishi Authorised Network according to Mitsubishi's recommended service intervals.

Servicing or repairs performed outside the Mitsubishi Authorised Network may affect GRV eligibility. Unauthorised modifications such as:

  1. ECU tuning;
  2. Suspension modifications;
  3. Structural modifications;
  4. Safety system modifications; or
  5. Odometer tampering may result in the vehicle becoming ineligible for the GRV Programme

If you are uncertain whether a repair or modification may affect eligibility, please check with your Sales Consultant before proceeding.

The vehicle's mileage must not exceed 100,000 km at the end of Year 5. Vehicles that exceed this limit will become ineligible for the GRV Programme. Customers who anticipate exceeding the mileage limit are encouraged to contact their Sales Consultant as early as possible to better understand the implications.

Minor accidents do not automatically make the vehicle ineligible. However, major accident damage, structural damage, flood damage, fire damage, total loss declarations, or damage affecting the vehicle's safety systems may result in the vehicle becoming ineligible. Vehicle condition and repair quality will be assessed during the inspection and appraisal process. Please retain all repair and insurance/takaful records.

Yes, however, any ownership transfer during the programme period may result in the vehicle becoming ineligible for the GRV Programme. If you considering an ownership transfer due to exceptional circumstances, please contact your Sales Consultant before taking any action.

The family member, estate administrator or legal representative should contact MMM for guidance on the required process and supporting documentation. No ownership transfer or assumption of eligibility should be made without prior consultation with MMM. Eligibility will be assessed based on the specific circumstances and programme requirements.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Examples above are for general guidance only. Final eligibility will always be determined based on the full program terms and conditions, vehicle history, inspection findings and supporting documents. Please contact your respective Sales Consultants if you are unsure whether a particular circumstance may affect your eligibility.
