To attain our goal of a sustainable society, we have adopted a unique style to automobile manufacturing which strives to achieve harmonious synchronization between people and the earth by fusing the modern day pleasures of driving with the consideration for the global environment.
Our automobile manufacturing prides itself in achieving the pinnacle of environmental performance using state of the art technology, while also maintaining a high level of driving performance and uncompromising safety, thus allowing our customers to experience fun, pleasure and peace of mind on the road.
Mitsubishi's innovative INVECS-III (Intelligent & Innovative Vehicle Electronic Control System) adapts transmission behavior to most driving conditions. Through advanced electronic programming, INVECS-III learns your driving habits and responds accordingly by altering shift points. The result is a car that knows how you like to drive and optimizes your experience behind the wheel.
MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing Electronic Control system) automatically adjusts the overlap between the exhaust and intake strokes. This provides greater torque across the low-rev range for quicker starts and better acceleration, and greater output across the high-rev range for improved performance and lower emissions.
CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) offers infinitely variable gear ratios that allow the engine to always operate at the optimum RPM, irrespective of the vehicle's speed. This maximises power and economy helping to ensure a smooth, stable ride with seamless gear changes.
RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body constructed of high tensile strength steel that utilizes crumple zones that route and absorb energy during high-impact collisions. Strategic reinforcements at key body points complement its side-impact door beams, giving your Mitsubishi a stable, secure base that's worth its weight in safety.
Mitsubishi's revolutionary AWC (All-Wheel Control) continually monitors the road and intelligently transfers power and braking to the wheels with the most traction to improve handing in the most challenging road conditions or weather conditions.
HSA makes it easy to start off on a uphill slope by preventing the vehicle from rolling backwards. It temporarily maintains the breaking force before the accelerator is applied.
ETACS (Electronic Time and Alarm Control System) is Mitsubishi's unique system that controls all of the vehicle's electrical components including the headlights, door mirrors, windshield wipers, etc. It provides peace of mind and convenience and supports driving by controlling all of the vehicle's equipment precisely in a variety of situations.
ASC recognises over-steer or under-steer and applies brake-force to maintain control, while TC helps to maintain traction on slippery or rugged surfaces.
ABS lets you maneuver under extreme braking while EBD distributes brake-force between the front and rear wheels, to assist the car in stopping within a shorter distance.
In 1917, Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. introduced the Mitsubishi Model A, Japan’s first series production automobile. The company has evolved in various ways for the next 100 years, but one thing remained constant: our dedication to craftsmanship, signature design, and relentless innovation.
For us, the 100 years is just the beginning. Mitsubishi believes that it is our responsibility to produce the next generation of extraordinary vehicles that capture the imagination and accelerate innovation as our way of shaping the future. Extraordinary vehicle that capture the imagination and accelerate innovation as our way of shaping the future.
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has been an icon of automotive innovation for a good reason. Our history of engineering milestones makes us stand out from the rest, and we take pride in being at the forefront. Our long, successful streak motivates us to push the boundaries with cutting edge technology and innovation.
Mitsubishi’s century of innovation has generated numerous technology advancements including one of the world’s most advanced four-wheel-drive system, the Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC). Its advanced integrated control manages the braking and driving forces of the four wheels to provide the ultimate balance of efficiency and control.
Mitsubishi is currently in the lead of the development of electric vehicle (EV) and connected car technologies. A product of our research is the eco-friendly i-MiEV, a 100% electric car that produces zero pollution and carbon dioxide. The Mitsubishi eX Concept, a compact SUV with the next-generation EV system, is also expected to lead the way with Tesla-rivaling range and automated driving capability in the near future.
Mitsubishi does not plan to stop or rest even after 100 years of innovation. We are driving to change the world all over again and redefine the way the world views automotive engineering. Leading the way with our extraordinary vehicles for another 100 years and beyond is our pride and joy.
