Outstanding Performance on the Global Stage
The GSSC 2025 Technician Competition was held at the Tokyo Ryutsu Center, Japan, where finalists were challenged to complete two on-vehicle troubleshooting tasks within 30 minutes. Competitors were grouped by vehicle models, with Ong Chee Hou representing MMM in the ASX/RVR category.
The evaluation emphasized:

  • Technical accuracy in fault diagnosis
  • Effective use of diagnostic tools and resources (MUT, workshop manuals, circuit diagrams)
  • Strict adherence to safety procedures
  • Customer satisfaction and vehicle care
  • Speed and efficiency of troubleshooting procedures

When all competitors met the required standards within the time limit, the winner was determined by the fastest completion time with accurate results, highlighting the importance of precision and time management.
