Bertanding menggunakan kereta berasaskan produksi di pelbagai permukaan seperti jalan tar, kerikil, dan salji, Mitsubishi Motors mencapai kejayaan melalui model seperti Colt, Starion, Galant, dan terutamanya Lancer.<\/p><p>Lancer Evolution, yang dibangunkan berasaskan pengalaman rali selama beberapa dekad, mencapai kemuncak dengan empat kejuaraan dunia pemandu berturut-turut dari 1996 hingga 1999.
