During the Movement Control Order from 18 Mar – 12 May 2020, will all Mitsubishi Motors Authorised Showrooms be operational?

Following the recent announcement by our Prime Minister, majority of our Authorised Showrooms will resume operations starting 5 May 2020.

During the Movement Control Order from 18 Mar – 12 May 2020, will all Mitsubishi Motors Authorised Service Centres be operational?

Does the Showroom & Service Centres comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the government during this MCO period?

Yes we will continue to implement precautionary measures on ground including frequent sanitization of facilities and vehicles, temperature checking, wearing of masks and social distancing. We appreciate your cooperation to ensuring our facilities remain safe for you and our staff by performing the required guidelines set by the dealers.

What types of jobs that the service centres are able to do during this period?

All jobs are allowed. However, service is by appointment only and vehicles will have to be dropped off, as waiting on-site is not permissible during MCO period. Our service representative will contact you upon completion for the collection of your vehicle.

How many days in advance are required for an appointment booking?

If there are vacant slots during MCO, customers may acquire for booking within the same day.

Are the standard Operating Hours still applicable during MCO?

Operating Hours is subject to the respective dealer’s state local city council approval. Please contact your nearest Service Centre for more information.

For warranty matters, if I missed my service appointment during the Movement Control Order period, will it be considered void?

No. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia will still honour the warranty.

My Free Service Maintenance happens to fall during the Movement Control Order period, will it be considered expired?

No. All Free Service Maintenance has a grace period of 90 days from the expiry date or within 2,500KM from the mileage due.

My car was stranded at your service centre because they are waiting for parts from MMM. Will the service centre be able to get the part?

Yes, as long as stock is available in our inventory.

Who should I contact if my car breaks down during the Movement Control Order?

While no walk-ins are allowed, emergency assistance will still be made available. Please contact Mitsubishi Assist 24Hours (MA24) toll-free number at 1-800-88-2166.
